June was such a crazy month for me lol and hope yall had an amazing pride month !!!
I got to go to Canberra a lot and see my fam with joshy. The winters driving to Canberra always have these crazy sunsets the photos really don’t do it justice. Josh bought this little smock top for a dollar and he looked like a painter so we dressed him up in a little beret Ahahha.
Me and my sisters went antiquing and daisy was giving major I love fall pumpkin spice vibes which was awesome, and I found such an epic big chunky butterfly necklace for so cheap and I can’t wait to wear it for tour eeee !!!
A majorly crazy thing that happened this month was we got to go and see Wednesday at the metro who are literally like my fave band and the show was sooooooo goood!!!!!!!! It sounded literally incredible and they had such sweetness and care radiating every time the spoke it was sooooo epic.
Emma and I went around the back door after the show and we were just like should we wait ? What if they don’t come out for ages ? And then BAM door opens, and there’s Karly and we were both just sooo shocked and starstruck Ahahhaha and then I was like hiii I’ve made you a gift and I gave her a little ceramic wall hanging that was a spikey frame with a yellow picture of hello kitty and a strawberry with a bite out of it I made and she said she loved it!
So we got to talk to her a bit about hello kitty and I was able to be pretty normal ahahah and I gave her a little card which had the Simpsons and she liked that too but I told her to read it later coz it was obviously a bit gushy and cringe lol ahahha. So I hope she likes the piece and it made it home safely with her! She said it would ‘feature heavily on her wall’ lol! but even if she didn’t keep it I’m not fussed bc it was such a privilege to meet and talk to someone I look up to so much and she was just absolutely lovely and so sweet.
Something Josh and I have been doing for a month or so is going to the botanic gardens more often and just walking around and being in nature bc we get so miserable and it’s so hard to leave the house but literally just being in the trees and plants is so healing and peaceful and helps a lot!
There’s a rose garden too where we go and smell all the different kind of flowers and I call it our aromatherapy lmao! !!! There’s also so many gorgeous birds and I love how friendly the ducks are and they are just so adorable!! There’s also so many amazing mushrooms growing everywhere I love looking at those!
Another amazing thing that happened this month is that Josh got his P plates !!! He’s been on his Ls for literally ten years and it was just the best day ever when he finally got them. We were just driving around with the biggest smiles and I was soooo proud of him!
It was also awesome when my dad came down to visit us and we had so much fun going out to dinner and dressing him up in my red snood and we went paddling in the ocean looking for shells and rocks and it was such a nice sunny day.
We’re getting ready and getting so excited to go on tour and see you all in August ! !!! And our Ep Butterfly Wing in a Silver Locket is out in less than a month and we’re literally beside ourselves waiting for you’s to hear it it’s just so good and we’re so proud of it xxxx
