Superstar out now !!!!!!

Omg I can’t believe superstar is finally out !!! If you’ve heard us play it live I hope you feel a bit of relief after we’ve been promising to put it out for so long lol.

Our friend Maddy Strydom shot this cover on her digicam. I found this cheer top in the green shed in Canberra, i stuck a bit of black fabric over the logo that was on it with some iron on hemming tape, and then the letters were iron on ones from spotlight. I also made the little poms look a bit less shit by sticking two different ones together. I also made all the cheer skirts by shortening some bigw skirts hemming them and then ironing on two different ribbons as trim. The cheer outfits took me like 8-12 hours to make imao. We did get our iron from the side of the road though, I doubt that helped.

Josh and I also spent a weekend painting an abandoned house to make that into the pink room set from the band shots. We couldn’t afford a tub of coloured paint so we got the $20 white stuff from Bunnings and mixed it with a $1 tube of red acrylic paint to make pink lol. Then we got chrome spray paint from spotlight and made a star stencil and that’s how it got that wallpaper look for like $40 and probably another 8-12 hours imaooooo ( its worth it right?) :,)
